Market Update: Sensex, Nifty Open Higher; Allahabad ,Corp Bank gain up to 7%

Market Opens: Benchmark indices opened on a higher note on Wednesday with Nifty hovering around 10,900 level. The Sensex is up 216.17 points at 36189.88, while Nifty is up 52.20 points at 10887.50. About 510 shares have advanced, 98 shares declined, and 21 shares are unchanged.  Yes Bank, Adani Ports, UltraTech, HPCL, ICICI Bank, RIL, JSW Steel are among major gainers, while Wipro, HCL Tech, TCS, Tech Mahindra are trading lower.  Among the sectors, except IT, all other indices are trading in green. Midcap and smallcap also trading with a 0.5 per cent gain. Market open: Sensex, Nifty Open Higher,Realty Shares Rally

Market open: Sensex, Nifty Open Higher Indian equity benchmarks opened higher following gains in their Asian peers after the U.S. President Donald Trump postponed the date for boosting tariffs on Chinese imports. The S&P BSE Sensex Index rose as much as 0.43 per cent to 36,027 and the NSE Nifty 50 Index rose as much as 0.32 per cent to 10,826.35. The market breadth was tilted in favour of buyers. Kotak Mahindra Bank Falls 5% -   After Block Deals Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank fell nearly 5 per cent intraday Rs 1,225. About 5.87 crore shares or 3 per cent equity of the Mumbai-based lender changed hands in a block deal, according to Bloomberg data. While the buyers and sellers were not immediately known, quoting two bankers in the know, that ING Group is looking to sell its stake in the private lender.
