Stock Market News - Eris Lifesciences Gains, Ashoka Buildcon rises 12%

Eris Lifesciences Gains After large Trade Shares of Eris Lifesciences rose as much as 5.4 percent to Rs 437. About 38.2 lakh shares of the company changed hands in a large trade, Bloomberg data showed.  Buyers and sellers were not known immediately. Of the shares traded 57 percent were at the asking price and 28 percent were at the bid, according to Bloomberg data. The stock was the second-best performer on NSE Nifty 500 Index. Infosys Top Performer   - On Sensex, Nifty Shares of Infosys rose as much as 5.8 percent, the most in two years, to Rs 768.70. The stock was the best performer on Sensex and Nifty. The Bengaluru-based software developer raised its revenue forecast for the full year even as higher costs led to a contraction in margin and decline in profit in the quarter ended June. DHFL Slumps - After Defaulting For Second Time Shares of the non-banking lender fell as much as 9 percent to Rs 68.60 apiece. The Company has made proportionate payment of 40 percent, that is, Rs.150 crore towards maturity of the commercial papers of the aggregate value of Rs 375 crore, according to its exchange filing. Adani Green Energy Rises -  After Promoter Cuts Stake Shares of the renewable energy producer snapped its four-day losing streak and rose as much as 2.4 percent to Rs 43.55 each. Market News - Reliance Industries up 2%, Jet Airways down 10%

Reliance Industries up 2%-  Shares of billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries jumped by more than 2% at Rs 1,375.50, ahead of its Q4 results.  Jet Airways down 10% - Shares of private sector airline slumped by 10% to Rs 216.45 on NSE. Shares of the cash-strapped airline plummeted over 34 per cent, its biggest intraday fall on record, to RS 158.70 apiece.  Spicejet At 14-Month High - Shares of the low-cost carrier rose as much as 15 percent to Rs 152.60, its highest since February 2018.
