Stock Market News - Indigo falls, Tata Steel, Vedanta top gainers

L&T Construction bags orders in the range of Rs 1,000-2,500 cr Indigo Extends Loss -  After Clarification On RPTs Shares of the country’s largest airline declined further after it fell nearly 4 percent to Rs 1,342.75 each. InterGlobe Aviation said all related-party deals executed at arm’s length, according to a statement. Related-party deals were only 0.53 percent of the company’s 2018-19 revenue, the statement said. Market Update - L&T Falls, Tata Steel, Kotak Mahindra among top losers

Tata Steel, Kotak Mahindra among top losers - SBI shares are up 1.8% to Rs 313.50, while ONGC shares are trading 0.6% higher at Rs 167.80 to emerge among the biggest Sensex gainers. Tata Steel shares are down 2% to Rs 478.80, while Kotak Mahindra shares are down by 0.5%.  L&T Falls - Shares of Larsen & Toubro fell as much as 1.2 percent to Rs 1,338.85 after the company announced its March quarter results on Friday.  Tata Steel, Hindalco, Eicher Motors, Dr. Reddy's Lab Grasim Industries and Indiabulls Housing are among major losers on the indices, while gainers are TCS, SBI, Wipro, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra. Market Update - VEDL, Tata Motors top gainers ; SRF falls

VEDL, Tata Motors top gainers - Tata Motors shares zoomed by more than 4% to Rs 182, while VEDL shares jumped more than 4% to Rs 191. Bank of Baroda shares are higher by more than 2% to Rs 131.35, after the firm’s merger with Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank is effective today.  L&T bags orders: Larsen and Toubro have won a large order from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) in the range of Rs 2,500 to 5,000. Vedanta, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors, M&M  are among major gainers on the indices, while losers are Cipla, HCPL, BPCL, IOC, ONGC and Zee Ent. Except for energy, all other sectoral indices are trading higher led by metal, PSU bank, auto, infra, IT and pharma.
