Alert: Masala Bonds worth Rs 1,330 crore were issued by the company on September 2016 and were due to mature on 15th October 2019. 


Indiabulls Housing Finance Extends Fall, - Shares Drop Nearly 8% Shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance fell as much as 7.5 percent to Rs 183.05. The stock extended declines for the second consecutive trading session. The company’s board intends to go for a buyback of shares and will take a final decision in this regard after receiving concurrence from the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India.

Future Lifestyle Gains After Large Trade Shares of Future Lifestyle Fashions rose as much as 4.2 percent to Rs 419.80. About 1.45 crore shares or 7.2 percent equity changed hands in a large trade, Bloomberg data showed. Buyers and sellers were not known immediately. Trading volume was 1,096 times tsi 20-day average, according to Bloomberg data. 

RBL Bank Extends Fall; Shares At Record Low Shares of RBL Bank extended declines for the fourth consecutive trading session. The stock fell as much as 6 percent to hit an all-time low at Rs 243.30 The scrip declined 16 percent in the past five days and fell 31 percent in the past 30 days. RBL Bank traded at 17 times its estimated earnings per share for the coming year.

Rupee Update: The Indian rupee opened at Rs per dollar on Tuesday against previous close 71.23.

Crude oil update: Oil prices dropped again on Tuesday after falling heavily in the previous session, as weak Chinese economic data for September added to lingering concerns about the feasibility of the US-China trade deal announced by President Trump late last week.

IRCTC Falls Nearly 4% A Day After Stock Market Debut Shares of IRCTC erased opening gains and fell as much as 3.5 percent to Rs 702. The stock advanced 128 percent on its first day of trade, the best debut for a local company in two years, driven by strong demand for its offering. 

The stock listed at Rs 644 apiece yesterday—a premium of 101 percent over its issue price of Rs 320 a share—on the BSE Ltd.

Infosys Extends Decline; Shares Worst Performer On Sensex, Nifty Shares of Infosys extended declines for the second consecutive trading session. The stock fell as much as 2.6 percent to Rs 2.68. The scrip was the worst performer on Sensex and Nifty.

Stock Market News - Yellow metal hits fresh record high as Iran attacks US forces

On the MCX, gold contracts for February were trading higher by Rs 562, or 1.38 percent, at Rs 41,225 per 10 gram at 0920 hours. It hit a record high of 42,278 per 10 gm. India Gold February futures hit a fresh record high on January 8 tracking gains in international spot prices which surged past $1,600 an ounce mark after Iran fired rockets at Iraqi airbase which hosts US forces that triggered risk-off sentiment. Spot prices hit their highest since March 2013 at $1,610.90 earlier in the session. US gold futures rose 2 percent to $1,605.80. “The jump in the price of what’s viewed by investors as a safer asset in times of political and economic uncertainty came after Iran’s missile attack on US-led forces in Iraq early on Wednesday,” said a Reuters report. “The attack came hours after the funeral of an Iranian commander whose killing in a US drone strike has raised fears of a wider conflict in the Middle-East,” it said.
